З початком війни в Україні життя докорінно змінилося. Наші діти стали свідками усіх жахіть війни. Українські учні не хочуть бачити руїни своїх будинків, не готові чути про смерть своїх братів та татусів, вони тривожаться, перебуваючи в постійному очікуванні загрози життя, часто розгублені, дезорієнтовані, лякаються звичних сторонніх звуків, схожих на сигнал повітряної тривоги чи вибухи ракет та снарядів.
Водночас колектив ліцею ЖИВЕ СЛОВО розуміє, що не навчати дітей під час війни – це злочин, тому ми живемо, навчаємо, виховуємо, допомагаємо, організовуємо різноманітні терапевтичні заходи. Разом з постраждалими дітьми радіємо і сумуємо, плачемо і тішимось… проживаємо війну різними станами та емоціями. Ліцей «Живе Слово» приймає виклик служити найбільш незахищеним верствам населення, відновлюючи їх життєвий потенціал.
Кожен педагог ставить собі питання: чим я можу допомогти згорьованим сім’ям, аби подолати емоційний біль? Що можу зробити для зменшення тривожності та страху дітей? Як організувати психологічну атмосферу заняття, аби воно мало зціляючу антистресову дію? Музикування, ляльковий театр, рукоділля, дебатування, ігротерапія, арттерапія – це ті інструменти лікування, які використовує наш колектив у роботі з постраждалими дітьми, аби відновити їх бажання вчитися, боротися за життя і мати право на гідне дитинство.
Водночас ми розуміємо, що в час війни важливі не лише академічні знання, а й духовні істини Великого Учителя людства – Ісуса Христа. Ми потребуємо Його обіймів, спокою та захисту. Тому ми молимось, співаємо гімни хвали, читаємо Слово Боже. Усе це зміцняє нашу віру, бо Господня любов є нашим надійним укриттям.
Since the war started in Ukraine, life has changed drastically. Our children have witnessed all the horrors of war. Ukrainian pupils do not want to see the ruins of their homes, they are not ready to hear about the death of their brothers and fathers, they are anxious, being in constant expectation of a threat to their lives, often confused, disoriented, frightened by the familiar terrifying sounds like air raid alarms or explosions of missiles and shells.
At the same time, the staff of the Living Word Lyceum understands that not teaching children during the war is a crime, so we live, teach, educate, help, organize various therapeutic activities. Together with the affected children we rejoice and grieve, mourn and enjoy … we live the war with different states and emotions. Lyceum “Living Word” accepts the challenge to serve the most vulnerable groups of the population, restoring their life potential.
Every teacher asks himself the question: how can I help grieving families to overcome emotional pain? What can I do to reduce anxiety and fear of children? How to organize the psychological atmosphere of the lesson so that it has a healing therapeutic effect? Music, puppet theater, handicrafts, art therapy – these are the treatment tools that our team uses in working with affected children to restore their desire to learn, fight for life and be entitled to a decent childhood.
However, we understand that during wartime not only academic knowledge is important, but also spiritual truths of the Greatest Teacher of mankind – Jesus Christ. We need His embrace, peace and protection. We wish for peace in Ukraine, peace in the hearts of every Ukrainian. Prayer and singing encourage our spirit, the Word of God strengthens our faith, and the Lord’s love is our shelter.
